I really like this picture. I think it is a good thing to believe in. Not only in school, but in life too. Like Mr. Ward said it will only get harder from here. But maybe that's not the important thing to dwell on. Maybe we should think about how it will get harder and life will get us down. But we don't have to stay down. We can get back up and keep trying. We are in a funny stage right now, being teenagers. It's hard being a teen, but it's easier than being an adult. We still don't have to provide for ourselves or work. We do however have to go to school, do homework, and build relationships. Friendships and partners. And sometimes it just seems like too much. Which is why I really like this Chinese Proverb. Failure is not falling down, but refusing to get back up...
1. Be regular. You will create a new blog post every other day or 4 times per week. Each post will contain 200 or more words.
2. Be respectful. 3 times a week you will write at least one comment on someone else's post about what they have written.
This is a sandbox, not a litter box. You are free to play as you wish, but respect others' ideas and feelings.
3. Be interesting. There is a whole universe out there with almost unlimited things to talk about. We don't want to read about what you ate for lunch everyday. Tell us a story. Talk about something that happened in the news. Use pictures. Wow us with your wit and your charm.
