Again a nice day>< although there are a lot of homework waiting for me, I still had a good time at noon. As a said last weekend, I played with the Emily, the exchanged student from Canada. This Sunday we planned for a dumpling lunch and in morning, mum woke up early and went to the market for all the materials and we went up stairs at 11 o’clock.
This time, not only Emily bur also another two exchanged students Angela and Sydeny. Sydeny is Emily’s little sister. She is a girl dose not like taking photos, she used two back cushions to cover her face when we took photos together.
Most of them have never made dumplings before, so we started from the basic. All three foreign girls did a pretty good job but oddly the other three Chinese girls did not do as good as them... All the dumplings we made had various shape. Some had too many stuffing in it and spilled out, some did not have enough stuffing in it >A<~ But everyone was happy for making dumplings and ate a lot during the lunch. Emily was really good at making them and Angela was good too, Sydeny did better and better during the whole process. Judy also got it at last! The bright flesh dumplings and vegetable and meat dumplings both are good. I also like the chicken wings a lot~
The dumping is one of the most famous traditional food in China, we also eat it at 00:00 in the last day of this year and the first day of the new year~ They symbolize lucky and wealth and of course they are delicious~~~~
