P.S. This article is my practice of This I Believe essay.
"Everything" in this article doesn't include the negative things like crime, drug... etc
I believe that everything deserve to try.
Our literature circle has just finished the book <The Alchemist>. In the book, the main character Santiago has ever faced a choice: give up what he had and chase the dream or stay in the life he is familiar with. In the daily life, we may meet huge numbers of similar situation: major choice, job choice, job-hopping… etc. Our choice may decide the future. Many people give up their dream and choose a steady job because chasing dream requires the price. But as far as I’m concerned, the steady life is like a dress that is just like my common style, I can tell it is fit for me even without trying it, but it won’t give any surprise to my life. As I mentioned before, we will never know things if we don’t try it; we will never know what is waiting for us on the road if we just stay in the place. There may be challenge and risk on the road, but also the reward that we may remember for the whole life.
There’s a sentence in <The Alchemist>: “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” The God rewards hard-working. That’s why there’re so many people succeed to realize their dream. And all of these need trying. Chasing dream must be a hard and lonely way. No one in the great dreamers like Waltz Disney, Thomas Edison is not lonely on this way. But just because there’re so many Pioneers are on the way, we are never lonely chasing our dream.
Everything deserve to try, every dream deserve to chase. This I believe.
