We arrived at 1:30, there’re already many people in the hall. There’re a few volunteers as well as some emotional disables. They look like adults, but their mental are like children. The principal here introduced them as “kids”. We played a game with them first. The principal divided us into four groups in an interesting way: she stacked four types of tags on our back, and we found our group by recognizing the tags. Then two groups against each other. Our hands and legs are banded together and we need to open them one by one. At last, the frog group won the fast reward.
Then David went to the playground to play basketball with some boys. Others are taken to the Arts and Crafts room. We saw their hand-making opus. The opuses are so beautiful and we are quite surprised. Girls did hand-making with them and I was asked to teach some of them easy drawing. They learn fast and some are very interested in drawing cartoon. After the boys are back, we sang and danced together happily.
We had a good time this afternoon. Doing charity and help these mental disable people is significative. And I found that the society should pay attention to them. Hope we can come next time.
