Today is the last day we stayed in Taiwan… :( Feel a little bit sad about that. Now I’m sitting in my room – in Shanghai – and trying to memorize the things that happened during the daytime. We took the plane in the afternoon, so today we didn't have a chance to go to the night fair. What a pity. So today I’m not gonna talk about the food in Taiwan, I would like to talk about the place I visited today during the daytime - National Palace museum. The National Palace museum is located in Taipei. The whole museum is really big and has three floors. Each floor is divided into different districts, which is easy for the tourists to visit. There are three things that you have to see if you have ever been to the National Palace museum, they are The Green Jade Cabbage, Meat shaped stone, and Duke Mao Tripod. The Green Jade Cabbage is made of a whole jade, which means the colors on it (the gradation of green and white) is one hundred percents natural. It is so lifelike that I couldn't believe that the jade in front me is not a real cabbage. The Meat shaped stone is really interesting. Actually it is made of agate, but through the treating from human, the agate is really alike to the meat. You can even see the textures and levels of meat on this Meat shaped stone. The Duke Mao Tripod is an ancient tripod that has 2800 years of history. Until now, among all the tripods that have been discovered by the archaeologist s, the Duke Mao Tripod is the tripod that has the most inscription on it, which shows that it has a great value. Some other things I would like to talk about is the snuff bottle. They are so beautiful and delicate! I haven’t seen such beautiful little things like those. I love them so much. And now, it’s time to say goodbye to Taiwan. I would miss everything here and I hope I could be back here again in the future. Goodbye. ----By Sherry |
