The weather in Taiwan was very changeable like the face of a baby>///<, suddenly smile and suddenly cry. The first day in Taiwan was over 25 Centigrade but today turned into under 17 Centigrade! It was so cold today and the thickest clothes we brought from Shanghai were not thick enough and rained heavily this morning~
Today’s trip was to Chiu Fen, the old town in Taiwan for food and panning gold. There were many traditional Taiwan snack in the town and many tourists too... I bought a pair of clog there, the clogger made it by hands field fabricated, very experienced and nice. We ate many nice food and had a pretty nice lunch, to tell the truth all the meal we had in Taiwan were good then all the others I used to have in other tourist group. Thanks Garith’s mum prepared this nice trip~:)
Everyone wore raincoat during the trip since it kept raining for long time and did not stop until the afternoon we visited Shilin Official Residence where Chiang Kai-shek and Chiang Madam used to live in Taiwan. The house was clean and generous show the personalities of the Father of a nation and Mother of a nation.
We also played to pan the gold in Chiu Fen, I got a small bottle of metal things at last, not so many gold but really interesting in the process. Maybe I can talk about this next time if anyone is interested in it!
Do you still remember I talk about I am considering where to live by the sea or in the mountain after I retired ? I love sea a lot in last post but feel really good about the mountain during the trip to Taroko National Park, the park was established in the mountain which contains plenty of marble rocks and the cliffs were really steep. The views were beautiful and full of green and fresh feeling, I love it and become Hard For The Heart about the sea and mountain again >A< But fortunately I still have long time to think and make decision later, hope I can find the answer as soon as I retired!
