I have always been and still might be allergic to seafood. I remember the ichiness I get on my arms and legs after eating a plate of shrimps or crabs. But I never thought that this plate of uncooked, raw seafood, changed my opinion on how I am allergic to seafood.
Japanese are very creative and also very clever to create such a way to eat food. Sushi, I am not sure if it also includes the fish and the octopus, but I will just call them that.
I skipped all the crabs, shrimps and seashells and stuff because I am allergic, but not very seriously allergic because my face don't swell up and I don't sneeze when I am near seafood. In fact I have been much better now than I was before.
Sushi is a Japanese traditional food. The fish are sliced into small pieces so that it is not too big to be picked up by a chopstick and dipped into the soy sauce with wasabi in it. Wasabi is a green, spicy powder or sauce that gives people a very spicy and chilling feeling and taste that goes all the way up your nostril.
Sushi is usually made with rice. Rice that are pushed together with a lightly sweet flavor along with some other food. Sushi can be riceballs with meat that are sliced flat placed on it or it can be riceballs that are rolled into a coin shape with seaweed on the outer layer. Cucumber and ham, it is all I can tell from just looking at the sushi, and I cannot make out any other ingredients that are used. The sushi tasted perfect. The fish is soft, smooth, and gives me a tasteful feeling after dipping it in the soy sauce. Japanese are very superior and making creative foods!
