After a two-hour flight, we finally arrived in Gaoxiong City, Taiwan. Our tourist guide is a very nice Taiwanese lady. On the bus, she introduced Taiwan to us briefly with humor, so that we could understand a little bit about this place right away. The first stop was Tuntex Sky Tower, which is the second tallest building in Taiwan. Although the weather was foggy, we still could see the beautiful view from the building. Second stop was the British Consulate at Takao. In my view, I think it looks like a museum that has evidence from the past and profile back then. I knew some interesting things there. The weather was getting worse and it even started raining. Then we went to a night market called Liuhe. As we all know that, Taiwan’s night markets are very famous. Well, at least, that’s what my old friend told me. The place we went was full of different kinds of food and fruit. We bought so many things: very big prawns, octopus, wax apple and other stuff. I was really full.
First day in Taiwan, I have to say that I really like this place but also I am a little bit tired now. And I am here writing Weebly, which makes me even more tired. So gotta go! I will keep updating it. Good night. =)
