Today, all the students in US High attended the first world expo of the school. It’s a part of our new civics topic, the Model United Nation. Every student presents a country. Some people get big country but some don’t. For instance, there were China, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Syria and so on. And I got United States. Yay! Big country. We all made posters for the countries and brought the food of the countries. That was interesting. At that day, during the first and second period, all the students were being gathered. During the world expo, you got the chances to look around, to know a little bit more about other countries. You can walk up to any countries and ask the delegates about the country, like what do people in your country called? What are some famous landmarks in your countries? Or some things like that. And also, I could tell that all the students were pretty happy and were having fun since they got the chances to try out food from different countries that made by different classmates. Each country has very unique and delicious food. Some people brought the curry they made, and some brought spaghetti. I believe the world expo is a good opportunity for students to show their abilities of creativity; and also it is a very good way to let students know about other countries in the world we live in.
1. Be regular. You will create a new blog post every other day or 4 times per week. Each post will contain 200 or more words.
2. Be respectful. 3 times a week you will write at least one comment on someone else's post about what they have written.
This is a sandbox, not a litter box. You are free to play as you wish, but respect others' ideas and feelings.
3. Be interesting. There is a whole universe out there with almost unlimited things to talk about. We don't want to read about what you ate for lunch everyday. Tell us a story. Talk about something that happened in the news. Use pictures. Wow us with your wit and your charm.
