I was most moved by Peace can happen. It is a story told by the grandaughter of a holocast surviver. During world war two her grandma was taken in and tourtered many times by Nazi's. That is where her grand mother met her grandfather. They escaped a second time and ran away. Later they were sent to a camp where they had their only child. Ten years later they left to America. When the story teller was eight years old she asked her grandmother "Dont you just hate germans for what they did to you?" and the grandma said "No, germans are my friends. I had many german friends who helped me survive". Stunned the grandaughter talked more about how she learnt compassion from this. Later, when she was in highschool. She went to Japan. During the atom bomb aniversery, the girl was overwhelmed by greif so she sat on a bench and thought about all the wars and future wars. That is when an old lady came up to her and held her hands. She said "Peace starts with us, right now, right here".
