West people always think that 13 is a bad number. Almost all of them don’t like 13. But why they think that 13 is an ominous number? Today I read a legend about the number 13. One day Jesus went to eat dinner with his disciples. There were 13 people ate the dinner together. Jesus’s disciple----- Judas was the 13. Judas betrayed Jesus just because he wanted 30yuan. Judas’s behave let Jesus bear a lot of pain. There were 13 people joined this dinner, and it was the person who was the 13 betrayed Jesus, and that day was 13. The most interesting one, the famous artwork <the last supper> has 13 people on it. So people thought 13 was a bad number, and it brings misfortune. It was very interesting. But we all knew that it was just a legend. I don’t think 13 is a bad number and in china there are some people love 13 this number. In our class there is one, she is Milla. Milla said that she thought 13 is her favorite number! I thought 13 was a mysterious, magical, and charming number. And I also like it very much. At last I want to recommend you a book which is about <the last supper>. It’s name is <secret supper>. Hope you will like it.
