Tuesdays with Morrie - Journal Assignment
Here is list of journal assignments for Tuesdays with Morrie. The purpose of the journal entries is to spark discussion in class and lead you to a deeper understanding of the book. Journal entries will be posted on the blog of your Weebly. Journal entries should be at least 300 words and adequately address the question. Holiday Homework: Generational Differences
In what ways are our parents' and grandparents' generations different from our own? What causes them to see the world so differently from us? How do events that happen in the world and home shape the mindset of people growing up during those times.
Assignment 1 - Parent Interview QuestionsDue Date: October 1
For this assignment, you will interview one or both of your parents to learn about how your generations are different from one another. The entire interview should last between 15-30 minutes. Begin your interview by trying to find the answer to these questions. You will need to add 10 additional questions of your own. The point of the assignment is to learn about your parents' generation and discover what events happened in your parents' life that influenced who they are and how they think.
