Look to the left, anyone still remember this picture? This is one of the five books that recommended by Mr.Ward at the beginning of this semester, let us to choose for our literature circle to read and at the most first this book is in my list, the second one since this is a science fiction and has a cute cover but because not too much you guys choose it, the poor <The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy> is out of the reading list QAQ. But lucky to me I find the film of it during my four-day-Qingming Festival holiday and watched it yesterday.
The film starts with the background --- the Earth be destroyed because the Galaxy government wants to build a High way so our main character “Arthur Dentz” lost his house(since the earth government decides to build a high way just goes though Arthur’s house so he is in the way) and his homeland, the earth at the same time.
A man named “Ford Prefect” be saved by Arthur when he tried to say “Hello” to a car and almost be crashed so he saved Arthur when the Vogons came to destroy the earth and you can obviously find out that Ford is an alien and he thumb a lift to the Vogons’ spaceship to hitchhike with Arthur and started an interesting adventure, you can find more by watching it by yourself. One more thing I really hope to have is the amazing alien yellow bubble fish, it can translate all the language in the universe>A< Super~! If I have it then I just do not need to learn English any more Haha~ XD
To back to my point, this film to me give an interesting idea which is my title “Don't think yourself too great”, the opening song from the dolphins <So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish>, talking about the nature tells the human a lot of information but humans just always think themselves too great and not noticing the omens and tips around them giving by the animals and plants so the earth be destroyed and almost nobody escaped from it.
Anyway, just always try to find out something, maybe kind of philosophical to you, and think about it during or after you watch it and get some informations, that’s can make every film good~ There are always some points are useful to you~::)
