The reason I found this film is about another film called "warm bodies",I think most of you guys know it and the protagonist is Nicholas Hoult who is also the main character of the film I have just watched today.
The film I watched is "About a boy" and in this film Nicholas is a kid about 12 years old still the shape how he looks like today and also a little different and lovely.
I can not tell I like the film or not, at least it has an happy ending, this is almost enough to me. This film has a small connection with the "this I believe" essay I heard today. It about the adult and kid learn something really important from each other and change themselves to become a much better man.
At the beginning of the film Well the man who is rich and handsome did not do any job and waste all his life for making fun with money and women and he was satisfied with it, but later after he had a date with a single mother he found how nice these single mums are, and started to only dating with single mother and in order to get into their single parents party, he lied he had a two years old boy and his wife left them.
In this way he started dating with Sue and later met Marx whose mum is Sue's friend.
After about one week's surveillance, Marx found out Well was a liar but thought about to let he make his mum happier(Marx's mum is a little melancholia
and used to suicide) and here was the interesting part and the turning point of the film. They became friends, Well and Marx, without care about the age and experience, they have an special relationship. If you want to know what exactly happened between them you would better watch the film by yourself because I can not tell all of them clearly and do not want to mess it up~
So just as what I have said, this is an okay film you find my review makes you feel interesting or you like Hugh Grant or Nicholas Hoult a lot, you can see the high definition versions in this address http://video.baidu.com/kan/movie/id=27260&url=http://v.pps.tv/play_31GSL0.html#from_baidu
