From the H7N9 chicken flu, I learnt that, sometimes even though you try very hard not to be killed, you would never know what would kill you. Like the chicken flu, the way the disease spread is still unsure, so people can only be careful of it but they can never prevent it from happening again. And once you get that, it’s very hard to get cured.
From the Boston bombing, I learnt that, you can get killed anywhere anytime. You would never know where may hide a bomb. And you would never know how powerful the bomb is.
From the Sichuan earthquake, I learnt that, human beings could never win the battle with nature. Natural disaster can be the most powerful thing among this world. Natural disaster can make thousands of families fall apart within a blink of an eye. When you facing a natural disaster, you can’t do anything about it.
From these tragedies, I learnt that sometimes, human beings are so weak that they can’t even do a thing when a life is taken away, all we can do is stand and watch the life being taken, and then pray. There’s no way to prevent that.
I want to say, we are lucky. Compare to those live that were taken away, they couldn’t even do a thing about it. However, we are still alive, and there is a future wait for us to live. And our families are still there, so do our friends and people we care about. So yes, I think we are pretty lucky.
PRAY FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO DIED IN THESE TRAGEDIES. PRAY FOR THOSE LIVES.
