Yesterday, April 20, 2013, eight two, happened another disaster to people in Sichuan. In Ya’an, a city of Sichuan, happened a M 7.0 earthquake. To the latest news said, there were 181 people died in this earthquake, and more than 6,000 people wounded seriously. According to the information that are put on the internet. This time, 69 countries in the Sichuan province has been affected by the M 7.0 earthquake. About 400 buildings were damaged and 8 collapsed in Chongqing and around 900 buildings were damaged in Yunan. More than 2,300 fireman have been engaged in rescue work.
As we all know, in 2008, there was a M 8.0 earthquake which happened in Wenchuan, Sichuan. I believe most Chinese remembered that day May 12, because on that day, it took many Chinese’s lives. Today, though the magnitude of the earthquake is smaller than the Wenchuan earthquake, it also damaged people in Sichuan badly. Many parents lost their children in this earthquake. Many parents can’t find their mom and dad anymore. Today, some stories in the earthquake really shocked and let me feel so touched. One mom lost her son in Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, when she eventually decided to go forward to her future, Ya’an earthquake came and took her daughter’s life.
I don’t know what will that mother do after this big flict, but I believe god must open another window for that mom and hope she will not give up her own life. There was another story, a bride and her bridegroom were wedding before the earthquake, but when the earthquake happened, the bride soon went to the first line of the earthquake and insisted her own job to report the new for people with her wedding dress. I believe she will be the most beautiful bride in the world when she chose to hold the microphone and report for the people. Kyd
