I think someone was interested about FOOD in Mauritius ( sigh for Mallory or Sarah or others ). The western food there was great, such as burgers, cheese, sausages. However, fruit was not very good and it's too dry. Perhaps you felt that's strange why an island in Africa would be poor of producing fruit, I didn't know either, maybe because of the ground. My parents chose a watermelon personally but when I ate it, it's also not good. Otherwise, sugarcane was so sweet and tasty that we ate a lot. Oh, one thing I forget to say, Indian food was also popular in Mauritius, but it's too spicy to eat, so I never tried. But maybe someone like it could have a chance to try, that's all depends on you.
Now I think, that's truth.
